Just completed Elden Ring 100% on NG+7 — 400+ hours. AMA!
After 400+ hours across 7 playthroughs, I've finally done everything there is to do in the Lands Between. Every secret boss, every ending, every hidden item. Ask me anything! The journey started in February 2022 on launch day and ended this week. I've beaten every boss without damage on NG+7 difficulty. Happy to share build tips, lore discussions, or any secrets you haven't found yet.
SECRET discovered in Elden Ring — hidden room no one found for 2 years
The dataminers and the community have been searching for nearly two years, and someone finally cracked it. A hidden room deep in Farum Azula with lore implications that change everything we know about Marika's plan. The room contains a mural depicting a second Elden Ring — not a shard, a complete ring — and a fog gate that leads to a boss arena that is fully modeled but completely empty. The item description of a new ring fragment found in the room explicitly references 'the first attempt.' This might be what Miyazaki was teasing in the 2022 interview about 'cut content that may one day return.'
First-timer question: Baldur's Gate 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 for a newcomer to RPGs?
I've never played an RPG before and both of these games keep getting recommended to me. Which would you say has a better intro experience? I don't have much gaming history beyond FIFA and some racing games. My PC specs are decent (RTX 3070, 32GB RAM, i7-12700K) so both should run fine. I'm more drawn to story than grinding. I have about 20 hours a week to game. Help me choose!
My dream gaming setup — 2 years of saving and 6 months of building ✨
Finally finished my dream setup. RTX 4090, dual 4K monitors, custom water cooling loop (EK blocks throughout), and a full Hyte Y60 case with panoramic glass. It took 2 years of saving, 6 months of planning, and one catastrophic RAM leak incident (RIP old carpet). Full build list: Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 64GB DDR5-6000, 4TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe, Corsair RM1000x PSU. Peripherals: Wooting 60HE keyboard, Pulsar X2 mouse, LG C2 48" OLED as primary monitor. Total cost: around $8,400. Worth every cent.
LFG: Need 5 more for Destiny 2 Raid — Wednesday 8PM EST, all welcome
Running the Root of Nightmares raid this Wednesday at 8PM EST. We have 1 experienced player (me, 600+ raid clears) and looking for 5 more. Any experience level is fine — I'll guide. Requirements: voice comms (Discord), character power 1830+. Estimated time: 2-3 hours for first completion. Post your BattleNet/Steam ID in comments and I'll send invites Wednesday morning. We'll do a quick warm-up strike beforehand for anyone who wants it.
Review: Alan Wake 2 is the most cinematically ambitious game I've ever played
Remedy has created something that transcends gaming. Alan Wake 2 is equal parts video game, film, and interactive art installation. My full review after 40 hours: The dual protagonist structure — switching between FBI agent Saga Anderson in present-day Bright Falls and Alan Wake trapped in a nightmarish version of New York called the Dark Place — is executed with a confidence I've never seen in gaming. The Mind Place mechanic, the live-action sequences, the in-game musical number that made me stop and stare for 10 minutes straight. This is the rare game that does something genuinely new. 10/10.
GTA VI trailer breakdown: Every Easter egg, hidden detail, and confirmed feature
I've watched the trailer 47 times and frame-by-framed every scene. Here's the complete breakdown of every map detail, character, and hidden GTA V reference in the official GTA VI reveal. Starting with the map: the highway system visible in the aerial shot corresponds almost exactly to leaked screenshots from 2022. The number plates are readable in several shots — all showing 'LND' which confirms the Leonida state. Character analysis: Lucia's prison number is 1506 — which is the real-world date of the founding of the first permanent European settlement in Florida. This is not a coincidence. Jason's tattoos correspond to specific Leonida county symbols. Full 47-point breakdown in thread.
Cyberpunk 2077 PC optimization guide — 120fps stable on mid-range hardware
With Patch 2.1 and the Phantom Liberty update, CP2077 is finally in a great state. Here's my complete settings guide for getting smooth performance without sacrificing visuals on any budget GPU. For RTX 3060/3070 class hardware: DLSS Quality mode + Frame Generation gives you 90-120fps at 1440p with Path Tracing on for interiors only (switch to Rasterized for open world). The key discovery: disabling 'Volumetric Fog Quality' from Ultra to High gives 8-12fps with zero visible difference. Crowd Density at Medium vs Ultra is another 10fps. Full settings breakdown, VRAM usage chart, and benchmark comparisons in the comments.
