Elden Ring is an action role-playing game set in the Lands Between, a realm shattered by the destruction of the Elden Ring and the Erdtree that sustained it. Players take on the role of a Tarnished — exiled from the realm and stripped of the guiding grace — who must traverse a massive open world filled with ancient ruins, underground kingdoms, and crumbling fortresses. Six demigod children of Queen Marika hold the Great Runes, shards of the Elden Ring's power, and only by defeating them can you claim the throne. With over 100 unique bosses, hundreds of weapons, spells, and talismans, and a world designed in collaboration with George R.R. Martin, Elden Ring redefines what an open-world action game can be.
